An 82-page guide on outdoor lighting, printed as a 2017 companion book to the Bird-Friendly Development Guidelines of the City of Toronto, which the Town of Aurora's Green Development Standards Handbook page links as further reading. It covers light pollution (glare, light trespass, overlighting, sky glow), lighting for safety and security, external lighting fixtures, approaches by building type and setting, planning tools and nine appendices. It relates to Aurora's page on bird friendly design.
