Overview

The background study and district plan for the St. Clair Boulevard Heritage Conservation District, prepared in April 1992 by Hamilton-Wentworth Region's Local Planning Branch with the St. Clair Boulevard District Steering Committee. Six study sections cover districts under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act, the boulevard's history and 'City Beautiful' origins, its streetscape and house styles, planning policies and zoning, landscaped open space, and implementation; Section 7 sets the District's objectives, policies and guidelines. The City's page says the Plan was never formally adopted.
