Overview

The City of Kitchener's Park Dedication Policy, which guides how the Park Dedication By-law, Chapter 273, is applied to development applications. Its sections cover general principles, interpretations of park land, exemptions, reductions and limitations, park dedication as land and as cash-in-lieu, off-site dedication and park land deferrals, with an appendix of average persons per dwelling type from the 2021 Census.
