The City of Kitchener's five-page Public Tree Removal and Compensation Program, dated July 2026. It explains how the City sets compensation when City-owned trees are removed for development and infrastructure projects, in support of 30% canopy cover in each Ward by 2050. It gives definitions, planting details and stock quality, notes and exemptions, and two sections with replanting and cash-in-lieu options by DBH range: boulevards and maintained turf, and parks or natural areas. It relates to the Public Tree Bylaw.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
