It sets out the districts' objectives, commercial signage under the Sign By-law's Special Sign Districts with a list of appropriate heritage signage features, and the approvals that apply to interior alterations, exterior additions or new buildings, and minor work through a Minor Heritage Permit, plus tree removal, district plans and grant and tax programs.

What it covers

  • Objectives of the District
  • Commercial Signage in the District
  • Appropriate Heritage Commercial Signage
  • Changes to Property in a Heritage District
  • Interior Alterations
  • Exterior Addition/Alterations or a New Building
  • Minor Heritage Permit Application
  • Tree Removal
  • How do I get a copy of a Heritage District Plan?
  • What financial assistance is available?
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it.
