The City of Markham's test report for a sewage system that uses a pump to move sanitary sewage — used, for instance, where the distribution pipe run exceeds 150 metres, gravity flow to distribution pipes is not possible, or the design is integral to an approved treatment unit or a shallow buried trench installation. It records the pump model, tank or compartment size, the measured discharge volume and dosing time, and confirms the installation conforms to Part 8 of the Ontario Building Code, the building permit documents, and the treatment unit manufacturer's installation instructions. The supervising licensee signs.

What it covers

  • Septic tank systems
  • Approved treatment units or shallow buried trench installation
  • Other dosing procedures tested and verified
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
