The City of Mississauga's Public Tree Protection By-law 0020-2022, passed in February 2022 and in force from April 1, 2022. It covers trees on City property: the Commissioner's responsibilities, the prohibitions around public trees and inside a Tree Protection Zone, such as pruning, grade changes, storage and excavation, permit applications and exemptions, issuing and conditioning permits, security deposits, refusal or revocation, inspections and orders, and penalties. Its companion, Private Tree Protection By-law 0021-2022, covers private land, and the City's one tree permit application form cites both.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
