Overview

The Town of Oakville's five-page Municipal Consent (MC) Guidelines, dated June 1, 2017, on the authorization the Director of Engineering gives a utility company to occupy a location in the town's rights-of-way. It sets out an order of precedence, objectives, work permitted without an MC, emergency work, approval procedures, road cut permits, the application and submission package, drawing submission items, the review fee and definitions. It links the Municipal Consent to the Town's separate road cut and temporary street occupation permits.
