Overview

The Main Street South Heritage Conservation District Study, dated March 2014, prepared for the City of Brampton with historical research by ERA Architects Inc. It is the study stage of the two-stage district process, examining the heritage character of Main Street South, a tree-lined street of turn-of-the-20th-century architecture in downtown Brampton. Its 37 pages review provincial and municipal policy, describe the study area, analyse the district and its sub-districts, propose a boundary and objectives, and summarize public consultation. The district plan is a separate document.
