The office consolidation, as of September 20, 2021, of City of Hamilton By-law No. 10-103, which names itself the Backflow Prevention By-law. Passed in May 2010 under the Municipal Act, 2001, it defines cross connections, premise isolation and degrees of hazard, then covers who may carry out the authorized functions, the CSA B-64 standard, property surveys, and the selection, installation, testing and removal of backflow prevention devices. Two schedules give the authorized functions list and City registration. Hamilton's Sewer and Drain and Water Works by-laws sit beside it.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
