Overview

The City of Hamilton's earlier by-law respecting development charges on lands within the city, By-law No. 19-142, passed June 12, 2019 and printed as a consolidation with amendment 21-102 and two Ontario Land Tribunal amendments to Schedule “A” under case DC190022. It rests on the 2019 background study by Watson & Associates and covers exemptions, the downtown CIPA partial exemption, redevelopment credits and rate lock-in, with schedules of municipal-wide, stormwater, water, wastewater and special area charges and maps. Hamilton's By-law 24-072 repeals it.
