The City of Hamilton's By-law No. 11-174, printed as a consolidation with by-laws 12-053, 18-228 and 19-141 and naming itself the City of Hamilton GO Transit Development Charges By-law, 2011. It imposes development charges on residential development across the city to pay for increased needs for GO Transit service. Schedule “A” sets a charge per unit for single and semi-detached dwellings, apartments by bedroom count and other residential types, and Schedules “B” and “C” map the downtown community improvement area and its height restrictions.
