Overview

Part A of Volume 7 in the City of Hamilton's Hamilton's Heritage series, prepared by Community Planning and Design in September 2007. It inventories places of worship in the former municipalities of Ancaster, Beverly, Binbrook, Dundas, East Flamborough, Glanford, Saltfleet and West Flamborough, after a history of Euro-Canadian worship at the Head-of-the-Lake and a typology of forms and styles. Appendices list lost places of worship and those built since 1967. The former City of Hamilton's are in a separate 2012 inventory.
