Overview
The City of Markham's development charge rate sheets, one for each indexing date from January 1, 2010 to May 21, 2026, together with the Development Charges Information Package and the Development Charges Rate Pamphlet at rates as at July 1, 2026. The sheets give unit-based residential rates and gross floor area non-residential rates for City-wide Hard and Soft charges, York Region, GO Transit and both school boards, and area-specific rates per hectare by by-law. The package adds plain-language questions and answers, contacts and residential and non-residential calculation worksheets.
