Overview

The Town of Milton's one-page Certificate of Occupancy guidelines, updated July 19, 2022, from the Planning & Development Department. It quotes subsection 1.4 of Zoning By-law 016-2014 on changes in the type of use of land, buildings or structures, lists the exceptions, and sets out three supporting items for the application: a metric site plan or survey, a dimensioned floor plan and a letter describing the business. Notes cover building permits and development charges, with Town contact numbers. It accompanies the Certificate of Occupancy application form.
