Overview

A corporate policy of the Regional Municipality of Peel, linked from Mississauga's projects subject to development charges page, setting the interest Peel applies under the Development Charges Act, 1997. It defines the DC freeze interest rate applied from a site plan or zoning by-law amendment application to the date the charge is payable, and the DC deferral interest rate applied to instalments for rental housing, institutional and non-profit housing development. Schedule A carries both rates: 5.5 per cent and zero per cent.
