Overview
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville's By-law 2016-165-RE, linked as its Signs (Portable Signs) By-law, regulating the size, use, location and maintenance of portable, mobile, banner, feather banner, inflatable and temporary signs. Passed in December 2016 and in effect from January 1, 2017, it gives each sign type its own section, from A-frame signs to temporary special-event signs, with sizes, setbacks and permit periods, alongside exemptions, sign permit applications, revocation, fees and enforcement. Schedule "A" maps the special sign district known as Downtown Stouffville.
