Overview

By-law 2026-024-RE, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville's Site Plan Control By-law, designates the whole Town a site plan control area under section 41 of the Planning Act, repealing By-laws 2015-136-SI and 2021-119-SI. Its five pages define development and prescribed areas near railways and wetlands, list the plans, drawings and conditions of approval the Town may seek, exempt ten classes of development outside prescribed areas — among them residential parcels of up to 10 units and farm buildings — and cover fees and securities. Passed April 2, 2026; amended May 20, 2026.
