Overview

The office consolidation of Brampton's Tree Preservation By-law 317-2012, passed in November 2012 under subsection 135(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, repealing By-law 38-2006 and covering trees on private land. Its exemptions include woodlots, left to the separate Woodlot Conservation By-law, hazardous trees, emergency work, trees within 2 metres of an occupied building and trees under 30 centimetres DBH.
