Overview

The City of Hamilton Licensing and By-Law Services form for temporary sign permits under Sign By-law 10-197, covering a-frame or portable, digital, mobile and new development signs. Each sign type has its own section with the property owner's or manager's consent, the business advertised and the wording on the sign; mobile signs add a start date and 7, 14 or 28 days. A questionnaire covers conservation authority and Niagara Escarpment lands, parkway visibility, setbacks and residential uses, then insurance and site plan items.
