Overview

The Bishop Hellmuth Heritage Conservation District Plan, a 41-page plan prepared for the City of London by heritage architect Nicholas Hill with a community steering committee. It gives the district's reasons for designation under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act, the goals of the plan, and building policies for alterations, additions, conversions, new buildings, churches, back lane buildings and demolition. Streetscape policies, work needing approval and implementation follow. Its companion is the district's separate Conservation Guidelines.
