Overview

Passed by the then Town of Markham on December 16, 2003 under section 365.2 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and consolidated to February 20, 2007 with By-law 2007-23, it sets a 30% reduction of municipal and school taxes on designated heritage properties under a heritage easement agreement, with eligibility criteria, limitations, repayment, penalties and a $50 minimum.
