The City of Markham's By-law 2022-102, passed September 13, 2022 under sections 42, 51.1 and 53 of the Planning Act, linked as the Park Dedication By-Law from the Zoning and Development By-law Information page; Parkland Conveyance By-law 2025-101 later repealed it. It defines affordable housing and building types from duplexes to stacked townhouses, sets parkland conveyance rates such as 0.55 hectare per 500 apartment units and 2% for non-residential land, gives mixed-use formulas and payment-in-lieu rates, exempts Housing York and non-profit affordable housing, and repeals By-law 195-90.
