Town of Oakville By-law 2023-076, passed June 19, 2023, a six-page by-law that apportions the cost of division fences between neighbours. It defines basic cost and division fence, sets out a notice of intent with quotes where owners do not agree, divides the basic cost fifty percent to the adjoining owner and the balance to the owner, covers damage and enforcement, and disapplies the Line Fences Act except section 20. It names the Town's Fence By-law 2002-034 and Pool Enclosure By-law 2006-071 as separate by-laws.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
