Overview

The City of Hamilton Building Division's owner agreement form for a residential demolition deemed a routine demolition under By-law 22-101, which delegates demolition control consent under the Planning Act to the Chief Building Official. It sets out the conditions — a building permit for a replacement building, a $20,000 per dwelling unit sum collectable as municipal taxes and a lien on the property where the replacement is not erected within two years, and registration of both conditions on title — with the owner's signature and the Chief Building Official's approval.
