This is the City of Hamilton’s document, as published on its website on 19 October 2026. The municipality may have changed it since: check the current version at the source. Legal notice
A one-page printable site sign published by the City of Hamilton and linked from its page on doing work near a tree, which describes it as the sign for public tree protection fencing. The sign names the tree protection zone, or TPZ, and the activities it addresses inside one: grade changes, excavation, soil compaction and storage of materials or equipment. It names the City's Forestry and Horticulture Section for any removal or alteration of the tree protection barriers, and gives urbanforest@hamilton.ca as the contact.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
