Overview

A one-page City of Mississauga sizing sheet for the water service pipe of a residential building containing one or more dwelling units. Part 1 tabulates hydraulic load in fixture units — bathroom groups at 3.6 and 6.0, then bathtubs, showers, bidets, clothes washers, dishwashers, water closets, hose bibbs and sinks — beside the minimum supply pipe size for each. Part 2 reads that total against maximum allowable length to give a service pipe size, and points to Peel Region for new connections and upgrades.

What it covers

  • Water service pipe sizing Part 9 – Residential
  • Part 1 – Hydraulic load (fixture unit) calculation
