Overview

The insurance certificate the City of Toronto carries with its tree and ravine permit applications, separate from the one on its non-utility cut permit path. Completed by the insurer or its representative, it names the insured, the property adjacent to the proposed work or tree location, and both commercial general liability and automobile liability policies with insuring company, policy number, limits and effective and expiry dates. Printed provisions add the City, its boards, agencies, commissions and subsidiary operations as additional insureds and set thirty days' written notice of cancellation.
