Toronto Building's single-page attestation for permit applications that fall inside the Ontario Building Code transition window. Its opening paragraph recites section 2 of Ontario Regulation 163/24 (Transition), under which Ontario Regulation 332/12, the 2012 Ontario Building Code as it read on December 31, 2024, is deemed to continue in force where construction commences within six months after the permit is issued. The permit applicant then attests that the working drawings, plans and specifications accompanying the application were substantially completed by that date and prepared under the 2012 Ontario Building Code.
