Overview

A single-page City of Brampton by-law, number 203-99, passed in September 1999, designating the whole city as an area of demolition control. Its three recitals set it on section 33 of the Planning Act, which allows such a designation where a property standards by-law is in force, name By-law 104-96, the Property Standards By-law, as that by-law, and cite planning considerations. One enacting sentence applies the designation city-wide, above the signatures of the Mayor and the Clerk and an approval line from the Director, Planning Policy & Research.
