Overview

The City of Kitchener's 70-page Mixed Use Corridors design brief, from Part B (Design Briefs) of the Urban Design Manual, dated 2012. It covers the eight corridors it names, along Belmont Avenue, King Street, Lancaster Street, Queen Street, Victoria Street and Fischer-Hallman, with an introduction, existing conditions, design objectives and a general vision. General corridor guidelines address public realm, gateway features, built form, building design, parking, transit, landscape, lighting, signage and land use, followed by a design strategy for each corridor.
