Overview

The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville's Public & Private Realm Standards Manual of June 2026, prepared with consultant CIMA+, whose pages also call it the Complete Streets – Public and Private Standards Manual. It gives streetscape direction for the public realm — roadway classifications and design criteria, streetscape design categories, roundabouts, lighting, paving, furniture, landscaping, public art and gateways — for the private realm, including patios, parking lots and signage, and for their interface and governance. Appendix A holds seven submission and design checklists; Appendix B is the planting list.
