The Community of Stouffville Residential Intensification Urban Design Guidelines, prepared by Brook McIlroy Planning + Urban Design and dated November 23rd, 2009, for assessing residential intensification applications within the Built Boundary. Augmenting the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville's 2002 Urban Design Guidelines, it identifies three intensification areas — the Western Approach, the Community Core and Eastern Main Street — and four site types, then gives guidelines for buildings above three storeys, including a visual angular plane and shadow impact analysis, plus townhouses, heritage infill, parking and access, and implementation.
