It covers about 71.25 hectares on either side of Kennedy Road South, north of Steeles Avenue and south of the CN tracks. Chapter 54 is based on Official Plan Amendment OP93-266, adopted in 2006 by By-law 255-2006, and incorporates an Ontario Municipal Board order. Residential, institutional, commercial and industrial land use principles are followed by transportation, servicing and an urban design and sustainability guidelines appendix.
