Overview

The City of Brampton's December 2025 office consolidation of Chapter 42 of the 1993 Official Plan, the Vales of Castlemore Secondary Plan, built on Official Plan Amendment 93-47, in effect since 1998. It covers about 457 hectares between Airport Road and Goreway Drive, south of Countryside Drive and north of Williams Parkway. The chapter sets residential, employment, open space and institutional principles, including convenience retail, valleylands and school sites, then transportation, environmental and servicing policies from tree and heritage preservation to pipeline safety and stormwater, private commercial recreation, and implementation.
