Overview

The Regional Municipality of York's Bylaw No. 2015-36, a bylaw regulating signs on regional roads, enacted June 25, 2015 and repealing the earlier regional sign bylaws; Markham's by-laws page links it beside the City's own Sign By-law, which governs signs off regional roads. It sets the size, weekend display hours, placement distances and Region permit sticker for temporary signs, a limit of twenty signs per intersection, permit applications and revocation, election signs, removal and offences. Schedule A lists intersections where no signs are allowed and Schedule B the permit fees.
