Overview

A one-page illustrated diagram from the City of Markham, linked from its Election Sign Guidelines page, showing where election signs may be placed at an intersection. Green marks the allowed corner area beside the private property line, noting at most two signs per candidate per intersection, one per corner; red marks the excluded strips 3 m and 10 m from the curb within 40 m of the corner, and areas by driveways, fire hydrants, bus stops and shelters, medians, roundabouts and between intersections. It illustrates Markham's Election Sign By-law 2018-8.
