Overview
The City of Brampton Building Division's deck package, linked from the City's homeowners page. Its requirements sheet lists the site plan and legal survey showing the deck's location, dimensions and setbacks, then plan and section drawings: pier location, depth, size and spacing; deck dimensions and height above grade; beam material, size and attachment; joist size, spacing and span; decking; and guard, stair and handrail details where the floor is more than 2 feet above grade. A $326.21 fee, Schedule 1, the applicable law checklist and sample drawings follow.
