City of Mississauga Zoning By-law 225-2007

A one-page zoning information sheet the City of Mississauga publishes on its decks, porches and balconies page, alongside the companion sheet on porches. Under Zoning By-law 225-2007 it prints the definitions of porch, deck and lot coverage, then articles 4.1.5.1, 4.1.5.2, 4.1.5.3 and 4.1.5.11 covering encroachments and freestanding decks. Three illustrated cases show a deck in a rear yard, an exterior side yard and an interior side yard, and a side panel lists the drawing information for a deck: setbacks, coverage calculations, dimensions and grade.
