The City of Mississauga's single dwelling unit information letter as it is published on the Basement Entrances and Second Units zoning page, rather than with the building department's forms. On one page the owner affirms that the scope of a named building permit application does not include a second unit or a lodging house and that the property holds no more than one dwelling unit, then signs three acknowledgements covering subsection 4.1.20 of Zoning By-law 225-2007, the by-law's definition of a lodging house, and the building permit that attaches to creating either.

Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
