Overview

Richmond Hill's Village Core Neighbourhood Design Guidelines, prepared for the Town's Planning and Development Department by The Planning Partnership and Oleson Worland Architects, cover the residential neighbourhoods on both sides of Yonge Street from Major MacKenzie Drive north to Benson Avenue and Dunlop Street. The document records the community consultation and the area's character in architecture, land use, heritage, lot size, streets and trees, then gives guidelines for single lot infill, townhouses, apartment buildings and roads, with a review checklist for each, linked from the City's Urban Design page.
