Land Use Compatibility Guidelines, Version 1.0, a 30-page Halton Region Official Plan Guideline brought before the Inter-Municipal Liaison Committee on June, 18 2014. Halton Region publishes it to show how municipalities can address noise, vibration, odour and air pollution from industrial, transportation and utility uses near sensitive land uses during Official Plan or Zoning By-law amendments. It lists provincial legislation, separation distances and mitigation measures, with an industrial facility classification table. Oakville links it from its Official Plan and Development Application Guidelines pages.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
