A two-page 2026 by-law of the City of Brampton, passed August 31, 2026, amending the eight 2024 Development Charges By-laws (110-2024 to 117-2024). It adds a definition of the Residential Development Charge Reduction Program and a new subsection 13(5), reducing eligible residential development charges by 65 per cent for condominiums of at least five storeys and 50 per cent for other dwelling units, retroactive from March 31, 2026 to March 30, 2029, with refunds. It underlies the City's FAQ.
