Overview

A two-page 2026 by-law of the City of Brampton, passed August 31, 2026, amending By-law 167-2025 as further amended by By-law 196-2025, which put the Purpose-Built Rental Development Charges Incentive Program into the 2024 Development Charges By-laws. It replaces the program's definition, adding the March 30, 2029 permit window, the 30 to 36 month occupancy periods and the 25-year rental agreement registered on title, and replaces section 4 so the amending by-law expires on March 30, 2029.
