The City of Markham's authorization for a tenant to sign the Engineers, Architects and Building Officials commitment to general review form in place of the registered property owner. Submitted only when a tenant is the one signing that commitment, it records the property, identifies the registered property owner or an authorized company representative, names the tenant, and carries the owner's declaration confirming the tenant is responsible for acquiring building permits and fulfilling the owner's general review responsibilities. Authorized under subsection 8(1.1) of the Building Code Act, 1992.
