The City of Markham's Age-Friendly Guidelines: Design Standards for the Full Life Spectrum, November 2022, linked as the Age-Friendly Design Guidelines (2022) and paired with the City's one-page Age-Friendly Design Checklist. Prepared with Urban Strategies Inc. and LGA Architectural Partners, it sets guidelines at three scales: neighbourhoods, from co-located amenities to sidewalks, parks and seating; building and site design for ground-related, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings and community facilities; and units, from kitchens and bathrooms to stairs and lifts, with an implementation chapter.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
