City of Mississauga By-law 0397-1978, The Fence By-law, passed in June 1978 and printed with seventeen amending by-laws through 0020-2026. It defines fences broadly, including hedges, trees and golf ball netting, then sets fence heights in residential and commercial yards, front-yard limits near the street line, privacy screen dimensions, sight triangles, fences on City land, hazardous materials, electrical fences and golf course netting. Later sections cover exemption applications, inspections and orders, and administrative penalties. The Swimming Pool Enclosure By-law and zoning by-laws prevail in a conflict.
DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
