A 45-page urban design study dated June 2003 by MBPD Inc. in association with the Town of Oakville, commissioned by the Town to develop guidelines for stand-alone drive-through facilities. It covers background, issues such as impacts on adjacent residential uses and traffic, policies of other municipalities, a stakeholder workshop and an open house. Thirty-nine guidelines follow under seven headings, from locational criteria to landscaping, with appendices. The Town's North Oakville guidelines also address drive-throughs.
