Overview

A two-page guide from the City of Kitchener Building Division on ecology units, also called air pollution control devices, used in place of the exhaust termination clearances of NFPA 96. It describes the mechanical engineer's equivalency letter or report, its contents, and the conditions that go with every installation, including a 3 m clearance to windows, doors and air intakes, filter MERV labelling and an Ecology Unit Notice sign, with figures of clearance measurements.

What it covers

  • ECOLOGY UNIT NOTICE
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it.

DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
