Overview

The City of Kitchener Building Division's one-page Shoring and Foundation Design Declaration. It has two parts for structural engineers: one for the shoring engineer, choosing among temporary, permanent or combined shoring with tie backs and supports, and one for the foundation engineer, choosing whether the foundation resists lateral earth pressures or relies on permanent shoring. Each part carries a practitioner's name, firm, contact and seal. It is one of Kitchener's engineer declaration forms for building permits.
